More talks for 2019

January 27, 2019

I didn’t know how much interest would be sustained in the First World War after the centenary of the armistice passed last November, but I have certainly found that this year so far, festivals and groups are more than happy to be booking Conflict of Interest throughout 2019, so this is very encouraging news.

So I will be presenting the talk again in Leicester while I am in the city for the Leicester Comedy Festival. It will be in Room 001 in the Attenborough Building on Monday 11th February, at 13:30 (free entry).

Then I have a spot booked at the Morecambe Fringe on 17th March, followed by a 3-day run at the Brighton Fringe in May (from the 3rd to the 5th) and have been invited to speak as part of the AGM for my hometown’s museum in October.

It is good to know that the remembrance of our serving soldiers and sailors in WW1 is still very important to many different people after the ‘hype’ of 2018 has dissipated.
